Preseli Venture is a lovely, friendly adventure centre just a 5 minute drive from Ty Parke. They provide top class outdoor activities including coasteering, surfing and kayaking. Families, couples, groups and individuals are all welcome.

TYF Adventure the original and the best provider of coasteering and the full range of other outdoor activities for the whole family. TYF also has a nice clothing shop is St David's.

VentureJet offers superb jet boat adventure trips around Ramsey Island, as well as dolphin and whale watching. Strong emphasis on conservation and an incredible knowledge of the wildlife around these shores that is second to none.

Whitesands Surf School or Newsurf are worth a visit if you'd like to try your hand at surfing. Whitesands and Newgale beaches are both within very easy reach of us.

Castell Henllys is a prehistoric fort dating to around 600BC. What makes this one particularly fascinating is that the thatched Iron Age buildings have been reconstructed on their original foundations.

Druidstone near Broadhaven is a bit of an institution in this part of Pembrokeshire. An amazing 'chill out' venue, that's family friendly, serves great food and hosts lots of art and music events throughout the year.

Tree Tops Trail is great fun for all the family. Clip into your harness, then traverse and swing through the trees at breathtaking heights in complete safety!

Swimming Without Stress teach people to swim. A non-swimmer's relationship with the water changes from the first lesson. Experienced swimmers are taught efficiency in water, breathing techniques and how to swim for fitness.

Trellyn Campsite is another great campsite owned and run by our very close friends, Kevin & Claire Bird. If we are fully booked, they are well worth a call.

Also, if we are fully booked and you don't mind being further north and more inland - Rhydhowell Farm is a working farm on the edge of the Preseli Hills. It has a wonderful nature trail and small campsite.

Larkhill Tipis Tipi and yurt holidays in a great location in Carmarthenshire. We met Tony and Fran for the first during Easter 2009. They have a fantastic set up and have really inspired us - not least with their amazing composting loo!

Flimstone Farm Holidays offer yurt camping and a holiday cottage. Located somewhat further inland, close to Narberth, in the south of the county.

Luddington Marine is a Pembrokeshire based company specialising in marine biology and marine environmental education. It is run by Dr Lou Luddington. The website has many interesting photos of marine life to be found around the coast of Pembrokeshire.
