Great facilities to make your Pembrokeshire camping holiday even more enjoyable

Camping is a ideal way to get back to basics. But even the most seasoned campers are pushed to the limits of their endurance when campsite facilities are too basic, not properly maintained or are overcrowded. At Ty Parke our aim is to ensure you have a really enjoyable camping holiday in every respect. We achieve this by only have a small number of pitches - and by providing high-quality facilities with a little bit of luxury. The intention is that you should never have to queue for the loos, the showers, or to do your washing up.

The campsite facilities include
Two large family shower rooms both with WC and hand basin
Another separate WC with hand basin
A large washing-up area with two washing-up sinks
Solar-heated hot water
Washing machine (for which there is a small charge)
Two refrigerators each with a freezer compartment for your ice blocks
Under-cover washing line (in the barn) and an outside washing line
Book exchange
Large water butt for rinsing wetsuits
All cold water taps are drinking water

Local information
We also have an information board with a large map of north Pembrokeshire and lots of information leaflets suggesting things to do and places to see. The notice board gives information on the best beaches, places to eat, where to buy groceries and emergency contacts. We update weather forecasts and tide tables every day so you can decide when to go to the beach. We are usually on hand to answer questions about the surrounding area or just to have a chat.

In the camping field
There is drinking water tap in the camping field. The woodshed is kept well-stocked with firewood but you'll need to split it down a bit and chop your own kindling wood (there are two axes in the woodshed).

campsite-recycling
Campsite waste recycling
We have recycling bins for glass, tins, plastic bottles, other plastic, paper, cardboard and compostable waste, all of which are in or adjacent to the woodshed.

There is also a bin for landfill but the aim is to keep its use to an absolute minimum. Helping us to recycle as much as possible all helps to lessen our impact on the environment.

In order to comply with Camping & Caravanning Club regulations, we have a chemical loo disposal point.
