Hideaway camping practical considerations
If the ground is particularly wet, cars are left up on the hardstanding next to the big barn. We will advise if this is necessary.
Two of the hideaway pitches involve passing through one or more paddocks, which may contain some of our sheep. Please keep the gates closed if this is the case.
Two of the hideaway pitches are set in hay meadows. We cut hay twice a year. Please avoid walking and driving over the hay at these times.
Hideaway camping for when you want to get right away from it all!
Our family camping meadow is large, always uncrowded and quiet. But if you really want to get away from it all, you can choose to camp on one of our hideaway pitches. There are five hideaways spread out over more than 30 acres. Three of the pitches are set in clearings amongst newly planted trees. The other two pitches give you a field all you yourselves - and is ideal for small gatherings of two or three families who want to camp together.
Acres and acres of space yet still only a short walk from the showers and facilities
Even though you’ll be out there on your own, you're still only a three or four minute walk from the showers and a field tap. Just as in the family camping meadow, each hideaway camping pitch comes with a picnic table, a campfire place and a campfire grill.
Probably the most spacious camping in Wales!
